Camp Activity/Description:  Join us for a week of fun, going back in time and celebrating 100 years in Girl Scouting

Age/Grade Served:

• Girl Scouts must be entering grades K-12 in Fall 2012
• Ages 5 and up
• Outdoor Skills - 6th Grade
  
• PAIT  -  7th grade and up
• PA - 8th grade and up

Unit Information:  The campers will be earning either a Daisy flower, a Brownie Badge or a Junior Badge, whichever is appropriate for age.  The following Badges will be available for the camper to choose from when registering.  You will be able to rank choices of Badges (first, second, third) when registering:

• Daisy Unit (Kindergarten and 1st grade)

                 Daisy flower Patch

• Brownie Badge (2nd and 3rd grade)

                 Snacks

                 Brownie First Aide

                 Brownie Girl Scout Way
          

• Junior Badges (4th and 5th grade)

                 Simple Meals

                          Junior First Aide

                 Junior Girl Scout Way

• Outdoor Skills: (Girls going into 6th grade and above; required for PAIT)            
  

                Outdoor cooking and beginning PAIT training skills

• PAIT (Program Aide in Training): Girls going into 7th grade and above. 

                In depth PAIT training.

• PA (Program Aide):  Girls going into 8th grade and above that have completed PAIT  (Program Aide  in           Training),  which includes both core and Day Camp Specialty Training, are eligible to be a PA at our camp.  Outdoors Skills training is highly recommended.   Girls will be placed into units and stations as girl leaders.
  

Overnight:  June 21st,2012; (for girls entering 4th grade or higher in the Fall of 2012).  Information will follow in a confirmation letter sent to those registered for this event.

Transportation:  All campers and PA's must ride the bus (except staff children)

• The $10.00 transportation fee is included in the camper fee

  • Target on Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy.
  • Home Depot - on Murray near Hwy 26 (parking lot near the storage sheds)
• Bus stop Pick Up is 8:15 a.m.
• Bus stop Drop Off is 3:30 p.m.
• You will be notified by a note sent home with camper on Monday if times need to be adjusted
